As an influential leader in healthcare, Michele’s 44-year journey has shaped the hospital’s growth and strengthened healthcare services for the Vinton community and beyond.Michele joined Virginia Gay Hospital in 1980 as a radiology technologist and quickly rose through the ranks, pursuing further education while working full-time. A total of 190 people attended the event, including 58 FFA members and 132 friends, family members, and guests who came to support the chapter. Before the ceremony, everyone enjoyed an amazing spread of food provided by Merchant’s Grilling and all of the FFA members' families. Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign Starts Friday, November 22

North Benton Ambulance director Anna Demuth, was nominated for and recognized as the Career EMS Provider of the Year out of the entire state of Iowa. Since joining the board in 1998—initially as Mayor of Vinton and, since 2001, in an ongoing role that now includes Vice Chair—Dave has played a vital role in guiding the hospital through transformative projects and initiatives that have enhanced local healthcare access and sustainability.
