2019 Annual Health Fair Provides a Variety of Informational Booths

Saturday found the high school gym full of 57 various booths of activities and information for the area residents to enjoy. Outside in the parking lot the Vinton Fire Department, Pink Heals, as well as a Child Carseat Check station was available among others. The local Sheriff's department had fingerprinting available for children as well as a place for the children to have their picture taken.

Training opportunity. The Benton County Sheriff’s Office will host Mental Health First Aid Training on April 19 2019. The course is open to members of the public as well as all First Responders. The training is provided by the Abbe Center for Mental Health, and is being sponsored by the East Central Region.
