Hello Benton County Republicans,The February meeting of the BCRCC will take place on Tuesday, February 14th, at 7 p.m. at the Van Horne Community Center located at 508 1st Ave., Van Horne.At this meeting, among our usual business, we will hold our biannual officer elections per our bylaws. We will be voting for a Chair, Co-Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer.

Rob Sand, State Auditor issues advisory on LIHEAP Funds: Your Heat will stay on
State Auditor Rob Sand today issued an advisory on the delay of Low-Income
Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) payments to eligible recipients.
LIHEAP is a federally funded program administered by the Iowa Department of
Human Rights. It is designed to help households at or below 200% of the 2022
federal poverty guidelines meet their heating needs.
