The end of August marks the last days of summer. Looking back, we've had quite a busy summer!In May, we concluded the 90th General Assembly, recognized Memorial Day and honored those who made the ultimate sacrifice, visited the Iowa College for the Blind campus and had two great breakfasts hosted by the Central City and Coggon Fire Departments. June brought the iconic Alburnett Car Show, the Iowa Professional Fire Fighters Annual Business Convention hosted in Cedar Rapids and two great county fairs (Linn and Benton).
