A farm safety day camp for any Benton County student in 4th, 5th and 6th grade is being planned for Saturday, September 17, 2011. The event will run from 8:30 a.

  The Vinton Community Swimming Pool will be hosting its annual Doggie Dip event on Sunday, August 21st from 1 PM - 4 PM. The scorching hot dog-days of summer are nearly over! Reminisce and cool off one last time with everyone's greatest pal.

       Regular summer pool hours ended last night.  Here's an update on what's happening this week.         On Thursday, August 18, the pool will be open from 2 PM - 7 PM.
