  It seems like school just started back up and we just closed the pool. Oh well, I guess Christmas is right around the corner and that not only means the big guy in the red suit will be coming but it also means we are getting ready to kick off another new year.

As the Christmas season kicks off, another staple in the community has always been Farmers Savings Bank and Trust's annual Open House.   Each year they welcome the community to come in and enjoy a bit of Christmas Cheer with holiday treats, and punch or coffee.

Blessed Hope Christmas Program this week

Blessed Hope will celebrate Christmas with their annual Christmas Program this coming Sunday, December 11th.  The service will begin at 9:30. Following the service there will be a potluck lunch, everyone is welcome to attend! The church is located at 1507 M Ave.

The Benton County Volunteer Program will again hold it's Christmas Clothing Giveaway for  for children infant to 8 years old.  The clothing will also include hats and mittens.
