  Breast Cancer Survivors Group:  We will not meet the first Tuesday of January! We will meet for dinner (free will donation) at Windsor Manor at 6:00 p.

Winter Break activities scheduled

  School is out for Winter Break but does that now mean you have to be stuck inside and bored to tears watching rerun TV? Of course not! The Vinton Parks & Recreation Department has plenty of upcoming activities to keep Vinton-Shellsburg youth occupied while celebrating the holiday season!   The Winter Carnival at the Vinton Skate & Activity Center will take place from 9 AM – 11 AM on Tuesday, December 27th.

  Kirkwood Admission office hosts New Adult Learner Welcome Day, January 9; event designed to dispel myths about returning to college. Kirkwood Community College will hold a reception for adults who are planning to return to college or start for the first time.
