Tailgate party planned for VSMS students Friday

This Friday, the Above The Influence Coalition will be holding a football tailgate for students at the Middle School.  During this even we will have music provided by Tyler Henkle, free hotdogs off the grill, deserts and some games out on the lawn.

The Vinton American Legion will be having a Fish Fry Fundraiser on Friday October 9 from 4:00 to 7:00.   We will be serving, Fish Fillets, Baked Beans, Baked Potato or Potato Salad, Cole Slaw and Cake.

'Fields of Faith' event set for Wednesday at Union field in La Porte

High school students from all over eastern Iowa, including V-S students and members of the new VS FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) are planning on attending the "Fields of Faith" event Wednesday evening at the Union High School football field in La Porte City.
