Events and Activities : Benton County Conservation Atlatl and Archery

July 6th ~ Hunting the Woolly Mammoth ~ 10:00

A.M. ~ Rodgers Park ~ Come join naturalist Aaron Askelson as we explore how the people of the ice age would have hunted the mega fauna of their time. You will get the opportunity to throw an atlatl and test your skills at bringing down a giant beast.

July 6th ~ Fundamentals of Archery ~ 11:30 A.M. ~ Rodgers Park~ Come learn about the history and the fundamentals of archery. Basic archery shooting skills will be covered and live firing will take place. Come out and enjoy the satisfaction of shooting a bow and arrow. This is a program open to all ages.
