The annual Lighted Holiday Veterans Parade takes place this Thursday, Nov. 15.

The parade begins at 6 p.m. from the intersection of 2nd Avenue and 6th Street, where a float will await WWII and Korea War Veterans. Those who want to participate are asked to line up on 6th Street, west of 2nd Avenue. Line-up begins at 5:30.

Everyone is invited to participate, and encouraged to add as many lights to their vehicles or floats as possible.

The local Legion, AMVETS and VFW have joined forces to sponsor this event.

The evening ends with the traditional first visit from Santa on the south side of the Benton County Courthouse. He will arrive via fire truck.
