The March meeting of Polk 101 was held at 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 2 at the Urbana Fire Department. The meeting was called to order by Aaron Sackett, the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Sara Davis, and the 4H Pledge was led by Lane Benson. Roll call was “what has been your favorite vacation?”, after, the treasurer report’s was read by Cassey Farley. The secretary’s report was read by Kayla sackett.

In new business, the club decided to donate to the 4-Her’s for 4-H fund, we also went over livestock judging results. The meeting was adjourned. After the meeting the make up demonstrations took place. The following members gave their presentations: Cassey Farley - advantages and disadvantages of no kill horse market, Katie Rolfes - types of horses, Kevin Cihla - animal records, Hadley Heitshusen - dog care, Ryne Cihla and Kalab McVay - orphaned animals. The next 4H meeting will be held on March 11, at 5:00 at the Center-Point Urbana Elementary. -Reporter Colin Cox
