Events and Activities : Vinton Izaak Walton League offers free home firearms safety training August 2

The Vinton Izaak Walton League's monthly meeting this coming Tuesday, August 2nd will be dedicated to home firearms training. They will review the most common firearms families have in their home, how they work, how to make sure they're empty of all ammunition, how to safely store them and things you can do to have children understand the importance of treating them with respect.

They will also answer any questions you may have about their use and storage as well.

The program will begin at 7:00 PM at the Izaak Walton League Chapter House, just north of Vinton on Highway 150. Please, come and get your questions about home firearm safety answered. We look forward to seeing you there!
