After playing dead for more than six months because of the pandemic, the Center Point Historical Society is planning to come to life with the 10th annual Center Point Cemetery Walk on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020, at 4 p.m.

Admission is $5. Masks are required. Lawn chairs are suggested. Rain date will be the following Sunday, Sept. 27.

This year's honored dead are:

Jim Sherman (1936-2007) insurance man and civic booster - portrayed by his grandson, Iowa State student Will Sherman.

Susie Roseberry (1883-1982) farm wife married for over 80 years - portrayed by her granddaughter Carolyn Roseberry.

Bob Bowers (1921-1987) CP coach and teacher - portrayed by Historical Society president Philip Andersen.

Corky Kramer (1923-2000) CP school secretary - portrayed by her daughter Gail Jones.

Charlie Edaburn (1883-1968) Rock Island Railroad worker - portrayed by Cemetery Walk veteran, John Stuelke.
