Events and Activities : Emergency Pet Food Pantry available at Better Together Animal Rescue

Thank you to everyone who has donated funding towards our emergency pet food pantry. We currently have plenty of food and will post if there are any future needs.

The hours of the pantry will be Monday-Thursday 5:30-7:00 pm while supplies last. We will be set up BEHIND Better Together Animal Rescue (211 West 4th St, Vinton). Please pull in the alley and we will assist you as best we can.

Please note that we can not accommodate specific brands of food. We do, however, have a very limited supply of some prescription diets for cats, so please let us know if your pets require these diets. We also have 1 guinea pig cage for anyone that needs it.

This pantry is not financially based, but is meant to help those affected by the derecho.

PLEASE MESSAGE US if you, or someone you know, is in need of help, but cannot make it to us.

Local friends: Better Together has partnered with Bailing Out Benji to initiate an emergency pop-up pet food pantry at Better Together to assist families affected by Monday's storm. More details will be coming soon, but cat and dog food will be available to those who need it, while supplies last.

We are extremely thankful to Bailing out Benji for assisting us with this project and for their assistance in providing our cats with some food as well. Please share this with your friends in our area and keep checking our page for more details.
