For kids entering 6th-8th grade, you can attend Adventure Camp and take an eco-cruise on the Mississippi, paddle on a Voyaguer canoe, explore the Mississippi, go caving and rock climbing, and visit the eco-tourism center.

The event will be July 30th-August 1st.

Participants will meet at the Benton County Nature Center, and leave at 8:45 a.m. July 30th. We will travel to Eden Valley Refuge in Clinton County where we will participate in the above activities. The group will be staying in a rustic cabin. The next day we will travel to the Mississippi River Eco Tourism Center to learn to paddle a Voyaguer canoe and take a ride on the Mississippi aboard a pontoon boat.

Kids will learn valuable camping and survival skills along the way.
