VINTON, Iowa (March 29) – Opening night at Benton County Speedway features the third of three weekend IMCA Frostbuster specials.
The Sunday, April 4 program at Vinton is headlined by IMCA Modifieds in a $1,000 to win main event.
IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $500 to win, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods vie for a $300 check, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks chase $250 in first place money and top prize for the Mach-1 Sport Compacts is $125.
National, regional and Allstar Performance state points will be awarded. The Modified winner will also be added to the ballot for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational.
Both the gates and the grandstand open at 3 p.m. Hot laps are at 3:30 p.m. and racing begins at 4 p.m.
Local track points will be given at Vinton starting April 11.

Sanctioned Modifieds, Stock Cars and SportMods are also on Frostbuster cards April 2 at Marshalltown Speedway and April 3 at Boone Speedway.
