Events and Activities : Coloring book fund-raiser for arts guild to take place during art fest

Representatives from the Cedar Rapdis Barnes & Noble book store will be selling coloring books and more as part of the Vinton Guild of the Fine Arts show in Celebration Park on August 29. Coloring is a great, relaxing way to be creative with a calming, meditative effect. Stop by to purchase your coloring books, colored pencils, and pens and support the beautification of our community, as Barnes & Noble will be donating a percentage of each purchase to the Art Guild. The Art Guild is raising money to purchase equipment for their creative space. The art festivall will take place in Celebration Park on Aug. 29, the same day as the downtown Boomfest activities.
