Events and Activities : Pool season ends with annual Doggie Dip, Aug. 23

The Vinton Parks and Recreation's 13th Annual Doggie Dip will take place next Sunday, Aug. 23, from 1-4 p.m. at the Vinton pool. Cost is $3 per dog (owners admitted free!)

Here’s an opportunity for you and your dogs to swim and play in the water. Let your dog jump off the diving board and just have a “dog-gone” good time. All dogs are welcome and are free to do as they please but must follow their owner’s rules. Be sure to bring your pet’s favorite ball or toy to play with. Owners must be with and responsible for their dogs at all times. They are also responsible for cleaning up the messes their pup may leave.

All dogs must be vaccinated against rabies, distemper, and parvo. These records can be obtained through your veterinarian and must be verified upon registration.
