Dads will dance with their daughters during the 25th Annual Cooling recital Saturday.

Zipadee! These dancers will perform Saturday.

The Cooling Dancers of Vinton will present their 25th Annual Recital “Up Up and Away We Dance!” this Saturday and Sunday at the Vinton-Shellsburg High School Auditorium.

The event will feature hundreds of young dancers, ages 3 to 18, as well as five groups of “Daddy Daughter” duos in performances throughout the weekend. The dancers have been hard at work this spring preparing their dance routines for the weekend event.

Curtain times are Saturday, May 30 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., and Sunday, May 31 at 1 p.m., 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. With five performances throughout the weekend, we have more available seating this year and we invite the public to come and enjoy the wonderful talents of our area youngsters.

Dance styles include ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and musical theatre.

Admission is $5 for ages 12 and over, and children under 12 are admitted free.
