Events and Activities : Shellsburg Area Community Group Plans Annual Golf Outing for June 13th

Make plans now to join in the fun at Wildcat Golf Course on Saturday, June 13th!! The Shellsburg Area Community Group (SACG) was formed in 2011 as a community improvement group and has been successful in providing volunteers and funding for a variety of projects in Shellsburg. The group will be hosting their 4th annual golf outing on Saturday, June 13th at Wildcat Golf Course in Shellsburg, with a 9:00am shotgun start. The entry fee of $200 per team will cover golf, cart and a meal. Teams can sign up by calling Wildcat at 319-436-4653.

Community businesses and group members will be providing a variety of raffle prizes, so get a team organized and come on out to support this group and have some fun! And if you’re not a golfer, put this date on your calendar and come on down to the Wildcat Golf course between 8:30am and 1:00pm that day to participate in the raffle. All money raised will go toward community projects in Shellsburg such as park improvements, flowers, streambank protection and enhancements to the downtown streetscape.
