Events and Activities : Central Lutheran School to hold annual Kindergarten and Preschool Roundup

Central Lutheran School in Newhall is hosting their annual Kindergarten and Preschool Roundup in April. Kindergarten Roundup will be held in the morning on Wednesday, April 15th. Each child is encouraged to bring their favorite “stuffed animal” to accompany them during roundup. Arrival time is 8:15am and pickup is at 12:00pm. Skills assessments, hearing screenings, vision screenings begin while parents meet with the teacher and principal at 8:30. Around 10:00 all students will remain with Mrs. Fry for “teddy bear” activities (snack; carpet time, activity centers; lunch; recess). Parents, you are encouraged to leave during this portion of the visit so that Mrs. Fry may become better acquainted with your child.

Preschool Roundup will be held Thursday, April 16th. Arrival time is 8:15am with pickup at 10:00am. Children may also bring their favorite “stuffed animal” to attend roundup. Parents are requested to attend this event with their child. Activities include: centers, art time, Jesus time, singing songs, carpet time activities, snack and playground time (weather permitting). Parents will meet with our principal and admissions director during their children’s activities.
