On, Tuesday, December 16, from 6:30-8 p.m., the Benton County Conservation Board will Present "Tobin’s Tales" at the Nature Center.

Enjoy an evening of historical storytelling. Prior to his passing at age 94, Judge John Tobin of Vinton, created a slide-show about the legend of Unga-Chuk and Nes-swe-nep-pe. Participants will enjoy hearing Judge Tobin’s voice, coinciding with a slide show, as he relives the story as it was told to him so many years ago. Light refreshments will be served. This is a free program.

The Nature Center is located west of Rodgers Park, northwest of Vinton.

BA December 15, 2014, 5:58 pm I hope the BCCB is planning a second presentation of this at a later date. I would very much like to see it but I have a prior commitment Tuesday evening.
JL December 16, 2014, 12:48 pm I would also encourage a second showing as I dont know if I can make it tonight with such short notice.
JE December 16, 2014, 12:57 pm Is the Judge\'s program presented as an actual slide-tape offering, or has it been converted for video projection? In the case of the latter, are DVD copies available for distribution?
