Events and Activities : Chili Supper to help send Veterans To Washington D.C.

There will be a Chili Supper to help raise funds to send area Veterans to Washington D.C. for the tour of a lifetime.

The supper will be held on Thursday, November 20th,from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Vinton Fire Station. The Vinton Lions Club will be serving and donations will be collected.

Be sure to stop here on your way to see the Christmas Parade.

Proceeds will go toward the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight.

WS November 20, 2014, 8:42 am I\'m sorry, however, I noticed that you have stated the proceeds will go to the Honor Flights for our Eastern Iowa Veterans, but you did not say how much the charge was for the Chili Supper per person. Could you find this out and let us know? Thank you.
