Events and Activities : Photographer and Author of \'That Tree\' to be in Vinton March 22nd

"That Tree", photographer and author, Mark Hirsch, will be in Vinton on Saturday, March 22nd at 10 am signing books at the Vinton Public Library at 510 2nd Avenue. Hirsch's story of finding the hidden beauty in your life and of personal healing as told through the stories and photos of a lonely Bur oak in the middle of a cornfield has resonated deeply with millions of Americans. Featured on CBS News Sunday Morning, NPR, NBC, and Iowa Public Television, Hirsch will share his story along with a slide show of photographs from the book prior to signing copies for fans. Books will be available and light refreshments served.
