The Vinton-Shellsburg High School Student Senate, which organizes Homecoming activities and other events through the year, is beginning what some hope to make an annual tradition at VSHS: Holiday Spirit Week.

Those little donations from countless people add up to more than $10,000 each giving season, to help area families with things they need to help them get back on their feet.
