Corteva Agriscience Celebrates 80th Anniversary of Dysart Production Facility

To celebrate 80 years of serving farmers, the Corteva Agriscience production facility in Dysart, Iowa, welcomed the community during an open house on June 17.Approximately 150 guests, including local farmers, retired employees and community members, attended the event. Team members led facility tours, where guests learned about the site’s seed production work, including the packaging, cleaning and shipping of corn, soybean, silage inoculant, alfalfa and wheat seed.

Round up at your local Fareway in July to support Variety the Children’s Charity

Photo from last year’s specialized bike presentations at one of the top Fareway fundraising stores Fareway Stores, Inc. is partnering with Variety - the Children’s Charity to conduct the sixth annual Round Up at the register from July 4 - 23 at all 130 store locations. Customers will have the opportunity to round up to the next dollar or provide an additional donation on their grocery bill to help fund Variety’s mission. Dollars raised through the Round Up will provide mobility equipment to children living with special needs, as well as fund and deliver effective programs and grants to care for children who are underprivileged, at-risk, critically ill, or living with special needs.

Biden Signs Bankruptcy Bill Into Law helping small businesses stay open

 President Joe Biden today signed into law a bipartisan bill authored by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) to help small businesses and individuals stay afloat during bankruptcy. The Bankruptcy Threshold Adjustment and Technical Corrections Act (S. 3823) becomes law at a time when Americans are battling 40-year high inflation, rising interest rates and fears of a looming recession.
