Four early season champions will be crowned when Benton County Speedway hosts the fifth and final night of IMCA Frostbuster Week  on April 7.

 

Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars for $750 and both Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $500 to win  Sunday night  at  The Bullring.

 

Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts are also on the card at Vinton, where pit gates open  at 2 p.m., hot laps are  at 4:30 p.m.  and racing  begins at 5 p.m.

 

Spectator admission is $18 for adults, $16 for veterans and seniors, $5 for kids 6-12 and free for five and under. Pit passes are $35.

Modifieds, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks and Northern SportMods also run at Frostbusters  April 3  at Independence Motor Speedway,  April 4  at Stuart Speedway,  April 5  at Marshalltown Speedway and  April 6  at Boone Speedway.

 

Drivers with the top point totals in each of those divisions earn the biggest share of $1,000 point funds and become eligible for their respective race of champions events at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

 

Modified and Stock Car feature winners also become eligible to qualify for their respective All-Star Invitationals.
