Maren Redlinger makes it official with Luther
Vikette swimming ace Marin Redlinger made it official Friday when she signed her NCAA swimming paperwork to become a member of Luther College's Norse women's swimming program.
A pre-med major, Redlinger was part of Vinton-Shellsburg-Union Coach Ashley Hesson's powerhouse relays last last season as Redlinger qualified for the State swimming meet in both the 200 Medley and 200 Free relays last fall at the State meet at Marshalltown.
The Norse women won the program's 14th Liberal Arts Championships earlier this spring.
Maren was joined at the signing by Coach Hesson, along with her parents David and Kristin Redlinger of Vinton.
