I am writing to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude for Mr. Mochal and the extraordinary impact he has had on my son, Dylan Roster. Without his unwavering support and guidance, I am not sure Dylan would be where he is today.


Mr. Mochal's commitment to his students and their families goes above and beyond what is expected of an educator. He consistently made himself available, day and night, meeting his students wherever they were, ensuring no one felt unsupported or left behind. That level of dedication is rare, and it has made a lasting difference in Dylan's life.


I am deeply grateful that Dylan has had the opportunity to learn and grow under Mr. Mochal's care. Vinton-Shellsburg Community Schools is fortunate to have such a passionate and devoted educator on its staff, and I wanted to make sure that his efforts did not go unrecognized.
