Opinion : Letter to the Editor: The Shutdown

Dear Editor,

I fail to see how this shutdown can be a plus for Democrats when a volunteer donated millions to pay our soldiers wages. It is time to admit your failings. You are on the wrong side and have been there for a long time.

Wrong as usual, the house did its job and passed the CR. It's now up to the Senate. It takes 70 votes, the Republicans only number 53. Seven more votes are needed-- that means 7 more votes. Those votes must come from Democrats. You need a civics lesson

I’m glad the Den’s are standing up for people who stand to lose their affordable health care to give more tax breaks to billionaires! Actually, John, you are on the wrong side of most issues and, for some reason still support a convicted felon and sex abuser. (Possible a pedophile too). You must be proud!
