Dear Editor,
I thoroughly enjoy keeping in touch with my hometown via Vinton Today, thank you to all who make this possible.
Robust conversations held here are good for the soul. I saw a book recently that sums up all the "Reasons to vote for Democrats." The book is by Michael Knowles and is a quick read.
I agree completely with every single point that he makes in the book. Right now we are focused on Vice President Harris as the new nominee. Whether it is her or someone else, it doesn't matter, the agenda will be the same.
If you're happy where you are, then she, or whoever they decide will serve instead will continue on the path that we are on. Open border, propping up a president as the face of every activity going on behind closed doors, a dysfunctional Secret Service who has had several breaches in the last three and half years, service members being killed, billions in equipment left for terrorists to use, the list goes on.
Thank you for your time, and please consider carefully who you vote for this year!

RS, I would hope you will find it within yourself to be more civil and stop telling people they are racist when it was you who brought race into the conversation. To be honest, I have no idea how you could do that. Ì would hope you will do some soul searching and chew on those lemons or better yet, cut yourself a big piece of humble pie. Enjoy!

To be perfectly honest with you, I care very little what you may or not feel about me. My comments have been no more outrageous than the ones you post. You consistently attack anyone who has an opinion that does not allign with a Democratic agenda.
Most Americans do not support open borders, a reliance on foreign oil, high taxes and high inflation. Most Americans do not believe Biden or Harris should be leading this country when they should not be leading a box of worms.
Calling people racist for simply disagreeing with you fits into the far left agenda when they lose a debate and cannot compete on the topics. I have found more often than not that the person who first brings race into a conversation is usually the racist.
Sooner or later those words become less and less meaningful for the real race issues when they are used as a blanket to be a response to anyone who dares to disagree.
I care very little what you think of me. Yet when you openly post ridiculas comments blaming Republicans for everything, even the things Democrats are responsible for, expect a response from folks who might just know the topic a little better than you do. That appears to happen alot and the usual response is an attack back on anyone who disagreed.
I sleep very well at night. I do not view Biden or Harris as the salvation for America. I do not believe they are evil but I do believe they are incompetent, because they are.. No one can honestly say Biden just started showing signs of mental decline a few weeks ago after he got his a$$ handed to him in the debate with Trump. Biden was like this four years ago. The guy has stumbled his way through his entire term and screwed up everything he tried to change. The border, Afganistan and his weak response to Iran is just the big ones. The guy is a horrible leader and what I call a Post Turtle. You can look at him and know he doesn't belong there and that someone put him there and even the turtle doesn't know what the hell he is doing there.
Harris is also a Post Turtle.
I forgot arogant and condensing. This is not about my "feelings" or this so called book. It is about your comments always going into the gutter, saying baseless, false statements and induendos. You must think your really cute in your answers but they only show how petty you are and the ignorance behind them.

The book is a cartoon book. You have to be a special kind of person to believe what's inside is real. Sort of like people who still believe in Santa.
Never intended to hurt your feelings. If something does not apply to you, you should not be so fast to own it.
You have the nerve to play your party’s victim card anytime Republicans and the extreme right are criticized. You make personal insults on others when someone disagrees. Well, this is now your turn. As the old saying says, turnabout is fair play.

The only thing worse than your comments is the Editor of Vinton Today who not only prints your vile comments but relishes in someone sticking to the libs. Both of you should be ashamed.

The other choice is a sex offender, felon, tax cheat, six bankruptcies, and was a president with a net less jobs created along with Bush.
Is there really a choice? Those that vote for Trump have either lost their moral compass and don't care about democracy.
