Dear Editor,
Today was yet another supervisor meeting. While today seemed calmer, and it makes me wonder if it was due to two missing ingredients, I am noticing something after reviewing previous terms on a settlement they had with the former Board of Health. I had pulled a copy of that and was looking it over.
The supervisors were to receive open records training according to that settlement. This all appears to have been signed in January.
Why have they not fulfilled it yet? Are they intending on doing so?
There could not be any possible excuse that would justify the fact they have not received this training yet as it appears in the settlement and does not appear to be contingent on anything else.
They agreed to do so via settlement so where is it?
Actions speak louder than words, and their actions are not backing up that they are taking anything that they have done seriously.

KP April 10, 2024, 7:54 am Amen! Why have they not fulfilled this yet? My bet is because they are looking for a loophole not to do so or to hold off as long as possible so they can just squeak out and continue their assault on others in the name of being uneducated. If I were the former board of health, I would go after them for contempt or not let it be dismissed because they have not done this and I would have it all reopened. Supervisors have not honored their end so it’s fair game.
TR April 10, 2024, 8:49 am I bet they were hoping no one noticed. Maybe people should be asking them weekly WHY is this not being done. No excuses, just do it. You broke the law, now follow through.
LS April 10, 2024, 2:05 pm The fact that Primmer is off rather than doing this training shows he really does not care. His priorities are definitely misplaced. I would think he would get back here and get it done before he does anything else. If he tries to sneak out of office without doing it, I would hold him personally liable.
