Martina Clara Siek, 89, of Blairstown, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Father Aaron Junge officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Martina was born on January 30, 1937, in Boulder Township, Linn County, Iowa, the daughter of Wesley and Tracy Clara (Marek) Lawrence. After high school, she attended Mount Mercy College and earned her nursing degree. She dedicated 35 years of service as a nurse at Mercy Medical Center and an additional 10 years at Manor Care. Martina was united in marriage to Damon Morrison on January 30, 1959, in Prairieburg, Iowa. They shared 39 years together until his passing in February 1998. She married Charles Siek on May 4, 2002. He preceded her in death in 2018.

Martina took great pride in devoting herself to her family, faith, and home. Over the years, she enjoyed tending to her garden, traveling, watching game shows and Hallmark movies, listening to polka music, and playing Train Dominoes. Most importantly, she cherished spending time with her family. Martina will be remembered for her steadfast faith, her generous heart, and the warmth she brought to everyone she met.

Martina is survived by her children: Gerald (Kathy) Morrison of Marion, Iowa; Theresa Dugan and her fiancé, Louis Reynolds, of Oklahoma; Michele Lloyd of Marion, Iowa; Karen (Tom) Howell of Marion, Iowa; Kevin (Avis) Morrison of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Bobbie Siek of Arkansas; and William Siek. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; her siblings; Mark (Mary) Lawrence, Loras (Marylin) Lawrence, Cletus (Linda) Lawrence, Mariann (Glen) Holiday, Joann (Jack) Carrothers, and Clair Lawrence, her brother-in-law John (Evie) Faurote, her sister-in-law Kay Lawrence, and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings; Clem Lawrence, Kathleen Faurote, Cyril Lawrence, and Claret (C.W.) Lawrence, granddaughter Angela Duwa, and a sister-in-law Denise Lloyd-Lawrence.
