Dale L. Aswegan, 60, of La Porte City, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the University of Iowa Hospital.
Dale was born on October 12, 1965, in Cedar Falls to Laverne L. Aswegan and Carolyn K. Thorne. He graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1984. Dale married Jane Lammers on December 29, 2007, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, just recently celebrating 18 years of marriage.

He was the ultimate uncle who never missed an opportunity to spoil all his nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his stepmother, Kathy Aswegan and father-in-law, Dick Lammers.
