Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Winthrop, Iowa, with Reverend David Beckmann officiating.

Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the Fawcett-Schmitz Funeral Home in Winthrop, and from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. Wednesday morning at the funeral home.

Sherry is survived by her sister: Diane (Don) Bails of Norway Iowa; two brothers: Larry Schmitt of Sierra Vista, Arizona and Jim Schmitt of Independence, Iowa; two sisters-in-law: Terri Schmitt of Olin, Iowa and Jari Schmitt of Winthrop, Iowa; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
