Beulah Marie (Lovell) Feuerhelm, age 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 29, 2023, at her Vinton home with her family by her side.


A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the Geo G. Luckey American Legion Post (105 N. R Avenue) in Vinton. Private, family interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton.

Beulah was born on December 13, 1940, in Urbana, the daughter of Lloyd and Barbara (Matejka) Lovell. Beulah was united in marriage to William "Bill" Teneyck. Bill passed away in 1970 at the age of 33 in a boating accident. On December 24, 1976, she was united in marriage to Richard "Dick" Feuerhelm in Vinton. Beulah had worked at Troup's Supper Club, as a CNA, and at McCurdy Seed. She and Dick owned and operated the R-Place Bar and grill in Keystone for many years.

Beulah was a member of the Keystone American Legion Auxiliary. She loved fishing, gardening, and spending time at the family cabin.

Survivors include her children, Suzy (Rick Lazenby) Robinson of Vinton, Steve (Rochelle Lanham) Teneyck of Garrison, Shirley Teneyck of La Porte City, Sheila (Doug) Rusk of Vinton, Rachelle (Mat) VanderHeiden of Vinton, Brett (Stacey Van Nevell) Feuerhelm of Van Horne, Kendra (Jeff) Kajer of Tama; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Raymond Lovell of AZ, Bill (Cissy) Lovell of Lubbock, Texas, Troy (Jill) Lovell of Waterloo; 4 sisters, Luella Martinec of Garrison, Bessie Todd of Waterloo, Charlotte Vasquez of CA, and Barb (Rocky) Bumgarner of Pine River, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dick, on August 27th, daughter Beverly Teneyck; grandson Wesley Teneyck; 2 brothers, Butch Lovell, and Lyle Lovell; and 2 sisters, Pauline Hobbs, and Eilene Wilson.
