Obituaries : Edward “Ed” Louis Mann

Edward "Ed" Louis Mann, 72 of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Mercy Hospital after a long illness. Friends may visit with the family on Friday November 11, 2022 at Teahen Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m.

Ed is survived by his wife Lynn of Cedar Rapids; son Eric Mann (Barry Dmytro) of Medford WI., and daughter Heather (Brad) Bunn of North Liberty; five grandchildren Cassidy, Declan, Ryker McMahill, Hannah and Nolan Bunn; sister Karen (Don) Saylor of Vinton; two wonderful pussy cats.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents Elwood and Shirley and niece Danielle.

Ed was born February 26, 1950 in Cedar Rapids the son of Elwood and Shirley Cook Mann. He graduated Jefferson High School and Kirkwood Community College. Ed worked at Farmstead Meat Packing for 20 years and then at Whirlpool in Amana for 15 years until his retirement in 2006. Ed loved his family dearly and took a lot of pride in his children and grandchildren.
