Obituaries : Wendy Lee Gallardo

Wendy Lee Gallardo, 56 of Elberon, IA passed away November 27, 2021, at her home.

Wendy was born September 28, 1965, to Brenton and Lois (Coover) Stull in Marengo, IA. She attended Belle Plaine and Benton Community Schools. She worked as a cook for Keystone Care Center for nearly 20 years. In November 1995, Wendy married Francisco Gallardo at First Assembly of God in Dysart, IA. Together they lived in Elberon and Belle Plaine.

In her early years, she enjoyed cooking, going for drives and being outdoors. More recently Wendy liked reading, watching Unsolved Mysteries and Criminals Minds. Most of all she loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Wendy will always be remembered for her titanic-sized heart. She was kind, caring and would selflessly do anything for anyone.

She is survived by her husband, Francisco of Elberon; mother, Lois Stull of Elberon; sons, Matthew Ellis of Elberon, Jeremy (Taylor) Ellis of Baltimore, MD, Francisco Jr. (Elizabeth) Gallardo of Elberon, Alex (Christina) Gallardo of Belle Plaine, Patrick Stull of Elberon; grandchildren, Francisco, Carsyn, Isabella, Forest, Amelia, Rosalie, Cecily and Kaylie; sister, Melissa (Troy) Peska of Belle Plaine; brothers, Kevin (Pam) Stull of Elberon and Charles (Sandy) Stull of Belle Plaine.

Wendy is preceded in death by her father, Brenton Stull.
