Brian "Packer" Lee Toney, 57, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away October 19, 2021 at St. Luke's Cedar Rapids, IA.

Brian was born May 17, 1964 to Ronald Sr. and Ruth (Wolters) Toney in Waterloo, IA. He graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1983. Packer worked road construction for L.L. Pelling before maintaining roads for Benton Co. He was also the owner and operator of Packer's Place bar. In 1998, he married Kassey Bordwell. They were blessed with two daughters before going their separate ways.

Packer enjoyed fishing, camping and cruising around in his old cars. He liked going to auctions and buying and selling things. Packer loved his time with family and friends.

He is survived by his daughters, Dawn Toney of Iowa City, Melanie Toney of Belle Plaine; siblings, Deb (Larry) Stull of Belle Plaine, Ron Jr. (Tersesa Suchy) of Elberon, Peggy (Trelys) Mitchell of Belle Plaine, Jim (Crystal) Toney of Elberon; friend, Sandy Fisher of Belle Plaine; dog, Lilly; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Packer is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bruce Toney, and great nephew, Blake Stull.

Service is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service, Belle Plaine with Russ Spading officiating. Burial will take place at Rector Cemetery, Chelsea, IA.
