Easton Richard Lindeman, at the age of 3, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021 at University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital following a year-long battle with cancer.

A celebration of Easton's life will be held from 1:00-5:00 PM Saturday, June 5th, 2021, at Celebration Park, 105 W. 2nd Street Vinton.

Easton was born on August 16, 2017 son of Corey and Samantha (Yenser) Lindeman in Cedar Rapids IA. Easton loved spending time playing with his brother and his best friend and cousin Eleanor. He was a lover of the outdoors and always wanted to go hunting with dad or camping with his family. His 'damma' Dawn, 'dampa' Doug and Grandpa Scott held a special place in his heart. Easton always had a smile on his face and brought joy to everyone that he saw. Even when he was undergoing his chemo treatments, he would walk around the hospital floor and pass (or throw) out candy. He was a lover of animals and had the sweetest way with all of them.

Easton is survived by his parents Corey and Samantha Lindeman and brother Hunter of Brandon IA; maternal grandparents, Doug and Dawn Yenser and maternal great grandparents, Ken and Joyce Schueler, all of Vinton; maternal great grandma, Celia Yenser of Watertown, WI; paternal grandfather, Scott Lindeman of Dysart; paternal grandmother, Joanna (Chuck) Howell of Oelwein; paternal great grandparents, Robert and Maryann Sothman of Atlantic; his aunts and uncles, April (Cody) Phillips, Madison (Ben) Wilson, Amber (Nathaniel) Heiden, Christina Carder, Mari (Scott) Schminke, Crystal (James) Jacobs, James (Jennifer) Yenser and Kris (Dana) Howell; his cousins, Riley, Eleanor, Piper, Tahlia, Tristan, Cody, Gunnar, Allyssa, Kaylee, Paige, Tony, and Walter. He also left behind numerous great aunts, great uncles and extended family who loved him dearly.

He was proceeded in death by his infant cousin, Brielle; great grandpa, Gerald Yenser; great grandparents, Donavon and Eldora Carlson.

Easton's family would like to extend a special "thank you" to everyone at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital for the excellent and personal care provided to Easton and our family.
