Sixteen area drivers lined up for the Trailer Race at the Benton Count Fairgrounds during the Race 'Em and Wreck 'Em Challenge.

Naturally, there was more wrecking than racing at this event.

The goal of the trailer race is not to have the fastest truck, but to knock the other guy's trailer off his truck. This takes place as the trucks speed around the track, which quickly becomes littered with debris, including trailer parts, truck parts and yes, even a couple of boats.

The audience loved it.

The trailer race was the last event of the evening, which also included school bus races, a monster truck car smashing demonstration and a tag-team even in which one the driver of one fully-functioning car attempts to push another car with no brakes around the track.
