The Dysart Chamber of Commerce held its annual meeting on March 5, bringing together business owners, community leaders, volunteers, and residents to reflect on the past year and look ahead to 2026.
Chamber President Nicole Taylor opened the meeting by welcoming attendees and sharing the Chamber’s continued focus on supporting local businesses, promoting community events, and strengthening Dysart’s local economy.
During the meeting, Taylor also clarified the role of the Chamber within the community. The Dysart Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit organization that operates independently from the City of Dysart and is funded through business memberships, family memberships, and sponsorships. While the Chamber works closely with the City and other community partners, it maintains its own board and mission focused on business support and community promotion.
The Chamber highlighted several accomplishments from 2025, including successful community events, expanded marketing efforts to promote local businesses, and increased communication through social media, newsletters, and the Chamber’s website.
Looking ahead, the Chamber shared plans for a full calendar of events in 2026 designed to bring visitors into the community and support local businesses.
A key message of the evening focused on the importance of Chamber membership. Business and family memberships help fund the Chamber’s events, marketing efforts, and initiatives that benefit the broader community.
The meeting also included recognition of the volunteers who contribute their time and energy to Chamber events and programs. Local leadership was also recognized, including the Mayor, City Council members, and City of Dysart staff for their continued service and partnership in supporting the community.
Taylor concluded the meeting by encouraging continued collaboration and community involvement.
“The momentum we’re seeing in Dysart is exciting,” Taylor said. “When businesses, volunteers, and community leaders work together, we create opportunities that strengthen our local economy and make our community an even better place to live and work.”
The Dysart Chamber of Commerce encourages businesses, organizations, and residents to stay connected through its website and community calendar, where local events, meetings, and fundraisers are shared throughout the year.
