The Vinton-Shellsburg FFA Chapter recently teamed up with the Vinton-Shellsburg FFA Alumni to prepare the community for the holiday season through their annual Lights and Roping project. With the help of alumni guidance, members worked together to plan where garland, wreaths, and festive decorations would be hung throughout town.

FFA alumni members spent the afternoon organizing materials, mapping out display locations, and setting up equipment to ensure everything was ready for installation. Their teamwork played a key role in creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere for local families and visitors to enjoy in the coming weeks. The support from the FFA Alumni was especially appreciated, as they helped coordinate details, shared past experience, and worked alongside the students.

Many Vinton-Shellsburg FFA members stepped up to volunteer, showing strong commitment to service, leadership, and community pride. Thanks to the combined efforts of the chapter and alumni, our communities will soon shine with holiday spirit, another great example of what can be accomplished when generations of FFA members come together.
