Shellsburg children welcomed the Easter Bunny this past weekend
The Easter Bunny has a lot of stops to make over the Easter season. The first appearance was at the Shellsburg City Park on Saturday. A little more than 100 children were on hand to collect the thousands of Easter eggs that were there for the taking.
In each age category there was a gold coin placed in one of the eggs, the price winner cashed it in for a chocolate bunny, courtesy of the Easter bunny.
