Members of the AMVETS Post 218 attended the local Vinton-Shellsburg FFA Chapter meeting to present the local organization with a donation.  

A former FFA member himself, Dennis Miller, told the group that "60 years ago on this day, I was serving as the FFA Chapter President in Wisconsin."

Miller presented the group of about 30 students with a $200 donation to the chapter. and offered them a fundraising opportunity in exchange for the group lending the AMVETS a hand with some of their future events.
