All charges are subject to review by the Benton County Attorney's office. An arrest or criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. Intrastate warrants are issued by law enforcement agencies for crimes happening in their jurisdictions.

35 written warnings were issued in October. Six were for moving violations and 29 for non-moving violations.
Eight state reportable traffic accidents were investigated in October. Seven citations were issued as a result of these investigations.
For the month of October, 166 complaints/calls for service were handled by the Vinton Police Department.
