Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.

Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available. Please call us to cancel or order a Home Delivered Meal by 10:00 AM daily! We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. Please call 319-472-4761 for more information about services or to reserve a table for groups of 3 or more.

On Monday, August 16th, the activity of the day was a Pepper Card Party with 5 tables of players. Evelyn Greenwood won 1st place with 318 points. LaVonne Henkle won 2nd place with 308 points. Third place went to Frances Kelly with 275 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by the Card Club and HACAP provided the beverages.

On Tuesday, August 17th, we played 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by June Salerno and Evelyn Greenwood was the volunteer caller. Game one was a 9-Pack with Elsie Knaack as the winner. Game two was a plus sign and JoAnn Roster was the winner. Game three was the letter “Z” with Ruth Wieditz winning. Game four was the letter “H” with Marge Goodell winning. Cole Hoyt won on blackout on game five.

On Wednesday, August 18th, we appreciated Judy Mehlert providing the afternoon musical entertainment.

On Thursday, August 19th, the activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Elsie and Faye. Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller. Game one was frame the card with Jacquie Winkler, Elsie Knaack and JoAnn Roster winning. Game two was the letter “K” with JoAnn Roster winning. Game three was a large diamond with Elsie Knaack winning. Game four was a 9-pack with Greta Geiken winning. JoAnn Roster won game five with blackout.

On Friday, August 20th, there were 6 tables of 500 played. Bernadine Barr won 1st place with 4,170 points. Leroy and Teresa Weiser won 2nd place with 4,000 points. Bill Milne won 3rd place with 3,660 points. HACAP furnished beverages and other refreshments were provided by the card club.

On Monday, August 23rd, there were 4 tables of pepper cards played. LaVonne Henkle won 1st place with 267 points. Irene Geiger and Don Burmeister won 2nd place with 256 points. Ron Dawson won 3rd place with 252 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by Card Club. Beverages were provided by HACAP.

On Thursday, August 26th, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Ruth Wieditz. The volunteer caller was Vickie Holst. Game one was the letter “T” with Ruth Wieditz winning. Game two was wild number and 3 bingos with Jeanette Blazicek winning. Game three was a 9-Pack with Fern Lewis winning. Game four was a stair step with Fern Lewis and Ruth Wieditz winning. Jeanette Blazicek won game five with a blackout.

On Friday, August 27th, the activity was a 500 card party with 7 tables of card players. 1st place went to Merle Roth with 4,620 points. Leroy Wieser won 2nd place with 4,410 points. Ron Dawson won 3rd place with 3,540 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by the Card Club. Beverages were provided by HACAP.
