This year as we updated our Veterans list, I was overwhelmed with the outpouring of appreciation from everyone for our Veterans.
We have added over 100 names, and I still have flyers from the 1950's with names that I am still adding and have someone sending in a list from 1812! Now that to me, is exciting!
If you have family that is in the military, from the Benton County Area, then or now, or any time in between, feel free to send in their names and information, if you have photos, feel free to send those in as well!
Dear Veterans, thank you again for your years of service to our country, for all of us!
We know this list is just a tiny way of showing our heartfelt appreciation for all you do.
And while we know that Memorial Day is a time for remembering those who are gone, we also want to thank those of you who remain for reminding us each year of the importance of, well, remembering.
