Our hospitals are quickly filling up again with COVID-19 patients and with those suffering from other illnesses and injuries. Our ability to transfer critical patients to higher-level facilities is becoming extremely difficult and is very concerning. Our employees are tired and overwhelmed. Virginia Gay Hospital and Clinics  joins our area rural hospital partners in asking our communities for help.

The PRZ Zone meets at 811 D Ave in Vinton on Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Feel free to come and go or stay the whole day! Bring a snack or drink, must be 18 years or older.Peer Support Centers help to create a safe, caring and inclusive space where adults can connect with others who share similar life experiences. We have partnered with educators, parents, helping professionals and employers to provide tools so that they can share learning about the hazards of substance use and problem gambling in their daily lives.

1. Join our Beds for Babies campaign by making a donation to support purchase of new cribs, car seats, high chairs and rockers for our babies and their Moms. We need sixteen – twenty-four sets for our residential treatment program for Moms.  Make a one-time gift to support the purchase or let us know if you want to buy one of these items.2.
