NOTICE - ROADSIDE SPRAYING
Roadside spraying will begin May 5, 2025
(2025 Program will be spot spraying of brush and weed only)
Benton County has a Do Not Spray Sign permitting process that can be found in the IRM portion of the Benton County Website. Residents interested in this program will need to fill out a permit and pay a one-time fee to enroll in the program which includes two signs and posts. These will be the only Do Not Spray Signs that will be honored. This program is an agreement that the landowner will take responsibility for control of invasive weeds and brush in their Right of Way. If invasive weeds and brush are not properly maintained to the standards of the Benton County Weed Commissioner and designated employees, this will be considered a breach of contract and control of the Right of Way will immediately revert back to the Benton County Roadside Department by any means they deem necessary. Please contact the Benton County Weed Commission with any questions at (319) 472-2040.
